It has been reported to the clearinghouse that CPID 1409 California Blue Shield could not create and deliver some ERA from 08/08/2013 to 08/13/2013, due to issues with the payer’s new processing platform.

The current workaround for posting to your accounts is to obtain the paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from the California Blue Shield Portal at www.blueshieldca.com/provider.
