Due to a clearinghouse processing issue, Professional and Institutional Claims for multiple payers may have received invalid error messages on the (CF) Claims Summary Data File Report, (XP) 277 Claim Status Report, (XS) 277 Claim Status Report and the (XJ) 277 Claims Status Reject Report. This issue occurred on June 18, 2012 between 5:27 PM CT and 5:34 PM CT. Reports containing these invalid error messages may have been sent without the submitter number in the file naming convention. The clearinghouse has resubmitted all affected claims.
Invalid error messages include:
L2 PAYER ID IS UNSUPPORTED (cpid)
L2 (submitter number) IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO SUBMIT CPID (cpid)
L2 INVALID RELAYHEALTH SUBMITTER IDENTIFIER
