The clearinghouse and TriCare are jointly working to resolve multiple issues. The clearinghouse will resubmit all Professional and Institutional claims for CPIDs 4456, 8503 and 6594 that were submitted to the clearinghouse from January 01, 2012 through February 16, 2012.

Claim resubmission for Institutional claims has begun on February 22, 2012 with an estimated completion date of February 29, 2012.

Claim resubmission for Professional claims is estimated to begin on February 27, 2012 with an estimated completion date of February 29, 2012.

Please be aware that due to this resubmission, you may receive rejections for duplicate claims as well as for additional 5010 requirements.

Subscriber address fields must contain city, state and zip code
Secondary and Tertiary claims must have unique Payer ID numbers
Secondary and Tertiary claim filing indicator cannot be MA, MB or OF
Secondary and Tertiary claim adjustment reason codes and amounts can only be sent at either the claim level or the line level, not both
Valid condition codes must be sent

Please monitor your Clearinghouse and payer reports in order to correct and resubmit rejected claims.
