The payer has resumed normal processing and all reports and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) are being received and processed.
Original Notice Sent 07/24/2013:
It has been reported to the clearinghouse that the Department of Veterans Affairs Purchased Care Programs is in the process of adjudication system updates and is experiencing processing delays. Delays are impacting 277 and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) reporting. Once the system updates are complete, the payer will resume normal processing. The payer’s expected completion date is 07/29/2013. Further notification will be sent as it is received. Please refrain from resubmitting claims to avoid duplicates which will increase the delay.
Payers affected are:
• CPID 1503 ChampVA – HAC
• CPID 1507 Veterans Administration Fee Basis Programs
• CPID 3807 ChampVA – HAC
• CPID 3887 Veterans Administration Fee Basis Programs
Action Required: Please be aware of this delay and refrain from resubmitting claims to avoid duplicates.
