CollaborateMD Blog
Update: The below changes to the Provider Remittance Data (RR) Report are effective today, 11/12/2012 after 2:00 PM CT.

Original Notice Sent 10/26/2012:
For greater efficiency and to meet 5010 requirements, the clearinghouse will be modifying the Provider Remittance Data (RR) Report. These changes are scheduled to go into effect next month, and you will be notified of the date prior to implementation.

The RR Report changes meet ASC X12N/005010X221 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice (835) Specifications.

Changes include:
An AMT heading will replace the ASG heading, and the ASG code will be removed. The amounts in this field will remain the same. The ASG code is no longer available in the 5010 835.
When Provider Level Adjustments are present, the clearinghouse will replaced the FCN and HIC headings with "PLB ADJUSTMENT IDENTIFIER." Data in this field will remain as it is now, correlating to the Adjustment Identifier (PLB03) in the 835. This is also a 5010-related change.

Additional information regarding this report is available in the Reference Guide on Collaboration Compass.
