in Clearinghouse - ACTION REQ.
Reminder to Update Sent on 03/18/2013: Before the new NCTracks system goes live on July 1, 2013 for CPIDs 1480 and 3564 North Carolina Medicaid, providers will be required to register. The payer will mail letters to all currently enrolled North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) providers in waves from March through May 1, 2013. The letter will provide instructions regarding access to the NCTracks Registration webpage, setting up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for claims payment and designating an Office Administrator as well as a Billing Agent.
During the registration process when identifying a Billing Agent for claims submission, the clearinghouse providers will need to either select "RELAYHEALTH" from the drop-down box or key "RELAYHEALTH" in the application if it is not available in the drop-down box at the time of registration. This is necessary to ensure the NCTracks system can verify which Billing Agent is authorized by providers to submit claims on their behalf.
Provider training on the new NCTracks system will be conducted by the payer from April through June 2013. Instructor-led Training and e-Learning courses signup will be accessible from the Enrollment, Verification and Credentialing (EVC) website www.nctracks.nc.gov.
Action Required: Providers will need to indicate "RELAYHEALTH" as their Billing Agent when completing the registration process in NCTracks.
