Invalid Error Message for Multiple CPIDs

Due to a payer processing issue, Professional claims for the payers listed below may have received the following invalid error message on the Payer Claim Data Report (SR):

A8:496:85 - Submitter not approved for electronic claims submissions on behalf of this entity - Billing Provider

A8:562:85 ******* A8:128:85 - Entity's Billing Provider NPI and Tax ID are in error

Payers affected are:
CPID 1449 Colorado Medicare
CPID 1457 New Mexico Medicare
CPID 1458 Oklahoma Medicare
CPID 1440 Texas Medicare

This issue began on November 19, 2012 when Novitas Solutions, Inc. (Novitas) took over the processing of claims from TrailBlazer Health Enterprises, LLC (TrailBlazer), for the Medicare Administrative contractor (MAC) Jurisdiction H (JH) contract.

To avoid receiving error messages:
Providers should verify that they have completed an EDI Agreement for these payers.

Providers should verify that they are sending correct National Provider Identification (NPI) and Tax ID to these payers.

Providers should verify that they are sending claims to the correct payer.
