As you should already know, the transition to ICD-10 is not just an update - it is an overhaul.

CollaborateMD Readiness - CollaborateMD is ICD-10 and ANSI-5010 compliant. We have successfully incorporated the ICD-10 foundation enhancements into our product since Version 8.3.7. All ICD fields for Professional and Institutional claims were enhanced to allow eight characters (including decimals) to be entered in support of ICD-10.

RelayHealth Readiness - As of October 2013, our Clearinghouse partner RelayHealth was ready to process ICD-10 claims – a full year ahead of the October 2014 deadline. Based on payers testing schedules, CollaborateMD and RelayHealth will continue to test with all payers offering full end to end testing between now and the October 1, 2014 – the Go Live Date.

Payer Testing  No Action Required. - The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has slated March 3-7, 2014 for their testing week. ICD-10 Testing Week applies only to Medicare claims processed. Please be aware registration has been completed for testing on all of our customer’s behalf. At this time, there is No Action Required.

Any delay could result in your organization experiencing backlogs, denials, and impacts on revenue. As a part of our effort to provide you with the best revenue cycle management solution we will be sending frequent communications regarding ICD-10 updates and testing results.
