The clearinghouse has been informed by CPIDs 1480 and 3564 North Carolina Medicaid about the following NCTracks issues:
• Some providers are not receiving Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) even though they are set up correctly in NCTracks with the appropriate billing agent.
-Providers with missing ERA must verify that RelayHealth is the billing agent for 835 remittance in NCTracks. If RelayHealth is not selected, we will not receive remittance.
• Some providers are flagged in NCTracks with a "test" status, causing claims not to process in NCTracks.
-If claims are not processing in NCTracks, please verify that RelayHealth is the selected billing agent for 837 claims transactions.
-Providers may also contact the payer to verify if the account is set in test or production status.
The clearinghouse is working with North Carolina Medicaid to get more details, and North Carolina Medicaid is researching the issues. We will send additional notifications as soon as more information is available.
