CPIDs 4509 and 6405 CIGNA Health Plans reported the following issue:

Due to a processing error that occurred on August 30, 2012 within one of Cigna's claim payment applications, some Health Care Professionals did not receive their 835 ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice). All EFTs (Electronic Funds Transfers) were generated correctly and only the related ERAs were affected. Cigna has identified and corrected the issue for the impacted providers so that future ERAs will be generated correctly. Health Care Professionals who did not receive their 835 ERA will need to use their Direct Deposit Activity Report (DDAR) or Explanation of Payment (EOP) to reconcile their accounts receivable.
