On September 1, The American Medical Association (AMA) released the 2016 Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code changes that will go into effect on January 1, 2016.  The updates include hundreds of changes, including approximately 150 new codes to report new or more specific procedures and technology.

The CollaborateMD CPT Master list has been updated with the new American Medical Association (AMA) CPT® code set, and your 2016 license is now available for purchase. Additionally, the 2016 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) has been added to CollaborateMD.  An Authorized Representative (Auth Rep) within CollaborateMD can access the MPFS within the Codes section, under the Billing & Procedure tab using the Pricing Wizard.

The price for the 2016 Master AMA CPT® Code License is $99.00 per username, and is non-transferable. An Auth Rep can purchase a license now and at any time throughout 2016. For instructions on how to purchase a CPT License please see the Services Help Page. If you joined the CMD family in the fourth quarter of 2015, you may be eligible for one free username upgrade. All CMD family members that qualify for a free username upgrade will receive a separate notification from CollaborateMD.

Please be aware that once a CPT License for a New Year is purchased and installed within your Account, you will be pulling from that Master list. If a code from the past year’s license has been removed / deleted by the AMA, it will not be found within the Master list. However, you will still have access to any and all codes that were properly saved within your Customer / Personal list.

For additional information on CPT® Codes, please reference the AMA's site.

Please contact our Accounting Department at (888) 348-8457, Option 3 if you have any questions regarding the purchase of your 2016 CPT® license.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.
